I personally think the show would've been much more intriguing if Inu - kun 🐶 was the MC
I really love the friendly rivalry b/w Shikimori and Inuzuka, so just my personal opinion that if the whole anime was about their romance it would've been less triggering for those who hate Izumi, caliing him a wimp and all...
Anyway, I quite like the show as it is now too...

Man Horimiya is just... a masterpiece. No offence but this anime cannot compare to Horimiya, in wholesomeness, in romcom-ness, nothing.

calling it a masterpiece is a joke. horimiya was only good for like the first four episodes. it even became more boring after the segs then they keep introducing different couples to drag the story out.

Actually horimiya should have been a Masterpiece but clover works rushed it and skipped a lot of scene and that's my only problem and I still think it's best anime that I can relate to when miyamura has that long hair and is gloomy in school but outside he's awesome

I would say that it was nice that they added more couples rather than just the main one. My only problem is that they cut out too much out of the manga. Also, the anime mostly focuses on the romance part. The manga is mostly comedy.

The comedy and the slice of life is so good to watch too bad they rushed it I want a remake but that won't happen it finally got some proper animation

Dunno: this episode kinda sucked imo, and she did WAY better in the previous ones (especially the last one)

Hachimitsu's entire role is definitely feels the most relatable compared to the other cast, who goes from the most unmotivated character to the best motivated character in a single episode.

She was at least motivated enough to pinch the win for the class. Even with Izumi's bad luck, she puts in effort for this. She was able to overcome the challenge, even if she tripped. The group still managed to win because of the power of friendship. Truly the best character development.

Hachimitsu most relatable character in that she's just like me during sports events, lol
